THE NATURAL CHOICE

Victor Oolitic limestone is harvested efficiently with minimal waste of stone or energy. It doesn't require the multiple manufacturing processes and energy expenditures necessary to produce man-made products such as precast stone.

At Victor Oolitic, we take corporate responsibility and environmental stewardship a step further. The U.S. Green Building Council (USBGC) defines "the triple bottom line" as a healthy and dynamic balance between environmental, social and economic prosperity. Victor Oolitic Stone has adopted the triple bottom line as a guiding principle of our own. Recent changes to our stone harvesting process have allowed us to reduce waste in our quarrying process, therefore reducing shipping weight and fuel consumption. This change has also significantly reduced our recordable incident rate, keeping our people, our most valuable asset, safe. We've also been able to maintain a net zero usage level in our manufacturing water consumption through a regulated recycling process.
